So there's a whole half of the planet where there's a particularly pleasant day going on during Nightfall. Alright, but what about the other side of the planet? It has to be a five-sun day there, hasn't it? I don't see any escaping that. In the story, darkness occurs because there is a one-sun day at the same time as an eclipse, and people go mad and destroy the cities with fire. Either I missed some detail somewhere in the book, or the premise has a huge hole in it. I just finished reading Nightfall, and my attention to detail is keeping me from properly enjoying the book. ![]() |
